I’m yours, mia dannazione.
and you, my bad example.
Bad Example is a dirge stitched into fabric. Conceived during my studies at the Northwest College of Art & Design, it was born from the desire to craft something strikingly singular and unlike anything else. Every element, from its visual language to the personality it projects, was designed with intent. It stands firm with a presence that is defiant, provocative, and unforgettable.
Anti-authoritarian at its core, authentic to the bone, and unafraid of its own jagged edges, Bad Example is as much a reflection of rebellion as it is an experiment in visual language, testing how the ideals of dissent might be bound into physical form.
Bad Example spreads its presence across multiple forms, with both a quarter and full page print advertisement to push its dark aesthetic into tangible space, a short motion advertisement that captures its raw energy through movement and sound, and a handmade garment that embodies Bad Example in physical form.
Along with this, Bad Example is realized through tangible artifacts that bring its ethos to life. The handmade, sculpted garment is constructed with deliberate imperfections and raw textures//construction. The deconstructed packaging disrupts the familiar to reinforce the brand’s confrontational stance, and the custom hang tag is carefully crafted to feel substantial and authentic.
Experienced together, all elements of Bad Example form a cohesive system that conveys its raw, rebellious character in every detail.
I mean, hell.
What a smoke show.
Make it
